Animalintex Veterinary Dressing

Animalintex Veterinary Dressing is a well-known, respected and fully approved product that can be used for a variety of purposes. For example, it is ideal for treating infection wounds, open wounds, mug, abscesses, laminitis and bruises. The dressing can be used cold or warm.

Effect

Animalintex contains boric acid and tragacanth. Boric acid minimises infections and supports faster healing. Tragacanth acts as a natural compress, attracting dirt and infections, reducing inflammation and creating a moist and clean environment for recovery. The dressing is made of medicated cotton wool, which absorbs pus and keeps infected moisture away from the body, for a cleaner environment. The polythene backing keeps dirt away and keeps moisture and heat in, for faster healing.

How to use

Cut the dressing to size. Boil water, let it cool to 38°C, submerge the dressing and squeeze out excess water. For infected pus, it is important that the dressing is moist and not wet, so that the pus can be absorbed. If the dressing is used cold, wait for the boiled water to cool. Clean and dry the body part, apply the dressing and secure it with a bandage. Change the dressing at least every 12 hours and monitor the progress of healing.
